Face shields are commonly worn in many professions to protect the users facial from splashes. These are often referred to as PPE Face Shields, an abbreviation of personal protective equipment, and are often used in medical practices. This protects the users eyes, ears, nose and mouth from sprays, splashes and splutters of bodily fluids.
Kewell Converters are specialists in the batch manufacture of face shields and can provide a quick turnaround on large orders. We manufacture foam and plastic products for a wide range of industries and have a great deal of experience in foam conversion. We can produce large quantities of face shields as well as other personal protective equipment.
Our foam products are environmentally friendly and are fine to use with skin contact which makes them perfect for use in personal protective equipment such as face masks. We use a range of Plastazote foam for these products in the form of LD15, LD29 or LD33 in order to produce high quality medical headband face shields. Our foam products are used to manufacture foam pads, liners and spacers for comfort and support between the visor and the head strap. These are also manufactured with self adhesive backing so that they can be attached to a clear plastic visor. The manufacturing process also utilises nitrogen for expansion on the foam, making the products extremely pure and suitable for skin contact.
